You may add courses during the first week of the semester by logging into the É«ÖÐÉ« Self-Service Center. Adding courses after the first week (or, for short courses, after the first class) requires the submission of an Add/Drop Form*, signed by the instructor, to the Admissions office or your local É«ÖÐÉ« Center. These tools may be helpful when enrolling into classes, Registration Assistance and MYÉ«ÖÐÉ« Registration Made EZ.
It is advised to review the Refund and Withdrawals Policy before you drop any courses. Full refunds may not be granted due to length of course and the time frame in which you want to drop it.
You may drop a course online at the É«ÖÐÉ« Self-Service Center (detailed instructions are here), or in person at the Admissions and Records Office or at your local center. You should first discuss your decision with your advisor and, if you are receiving financial aid, with the Student Financial Services Office. If you do not formally withdraw by the Drop Deadline, your instructor will automatically assign you a grade of "F."
For regular and non-regular semester courses, and for summer courses, the last day to drop is before 60% of the course has elapsed. One-day classes must be dropped no later than the day before the course occurs.
The official course drop deadline is subject to change per Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents' Policy. This change can occur any time prior to the beginning of the semester. Please see the most current Drop Deadline for regular semester courses at the É«ÖÐÉ« Campus Calendar.
Financial aid recipients who drop courses should consult the Student Financial Services Office.
