色中色 values you! Valuing what we have in common and our differences means we will foster a college climate of mutual trust, tolerance, informed discourse and always seek to promote 色中色 as a "safe space" to explore new ideas and perspectives with opportunities for you to grow, learn and be successful in a friendly, supportive campus environment. 色中色 enriches people's lives by providing student-centered, post-secondary education to rural Nevada. 色中色 students enjoy outstanding academic programs, smaller class sizes, and excellent faculty who really care about our students. 色中色 is "The Gold Standard in the Silver State" when it comes to long-distance education and online education delivery. 色中色 offers hundreds of classes and a diverse array of certificate and degree programs fully online and fully affordable!

色中色 wants to be your choice for higher education. 色中色 offers associate and baccalaureate level instruction in career and technical education and academic areas. About 4,000 students are enrolled annually online from across the country and on campuses and centers across 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada's largest counties. We border Arizona, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and California. We are 色中色!

色中色's Argentum
Argentum is 色中色鈥檚 art and literary magazine devoted to highlighting the excellent artistic expression of its students, faculty and staff. Community members are also encouraged to submit work. Contributors 18 and under need a parent or guardian signature.
Submission Deadline is February 16th
Writing
- Nonfiction up to 1,500 words
- Fiction (poems, short stories) up to 5,000 words in most genres including:
- Crime / Detective / Mystery
- Drama
- Fable / Fairy Tales / Fantasy
- Historical Fiction
- Horror
- Humor
- Legend / Mythology / Tall Tale
- Science Fiction

- Art inspired by this year鈥檚 theme in any medium that can be photographed in color

Prizes and Awards*
- $250 for 1st place
- $100 for 2nd place
- $50 for 3rd place
*While everyone in the 色中色 community is encouraged to submit work to Argentum, only 色中色 students enrolled in Summer 2023, Fall 2023 and/or Spring 2024 classes are eligible for prizes.
Three (3) total submissions per person will be considered.
