色中色 wants to be your choice for higher education. 色中色 offers associate and baccalaureate level instruction in career and technical education and academic areas. About 4,000 students are enrolled annually online from across the country and on campuses and centers across 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada's largest counties. We border Arizona, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and California. We are 色中色!

Nevada Promise requires students to complete community service hours, no later than May 1. Please see the list of ideas for community service organizations. Please note that these are suggestions and there are many more organizations where you can volunteer. If you have questions about what is an eligible organization, please e-mail promise@gbcnv.edu.
Please click on the link below to submit your community service hours. You will receive a confirmation email within a couple of hours of your submission. Please remember that only hours volunteered with a public service organization and/or non-profit organization will be accepted and all hours must be reported no later than May 1, 2024.
Attention: If you volunteered at more than one organization, you鈥檒l have to submit a form for each organization.
Community service is time contributed to a nonprofit or public service organization. The community should be benefitting from the work you do! Community service performed to satisfy the requirements of 色中色鈥檚 Nevada Promise Scholarship must not include religious proselytizing (recruiting), or service for which the student receives any type of compensation, or which directly benefits a family member.
Community service performed to satisfy the eligibility requirements for participation in the Nevada Promise Scholarship Program must not:
Community service may be performed with or under the direction of a faith-based organization, but must not include religious proselytizing or persuasion.
Existing Nevada Promise Scholars (current college students)
January 1, 2024: First set of 8 community service hours must be completed and submitted.
May 1, 2024: Second set of 8 community service hours must be completed and submitted.
New Nevada Promise Candidates (current high school seniors)
May 1, 2024: One set of 8 community service hours for new high school seniors must be completed and submitted.
